Vision

“Without vision the people perish

Proverbs 29:18 talks about the repercussions of lacking vision. Do you believe this to be true?

I do.

So if lacking vision brings death, does having a vision bring life?

I think so.

I’ve seen vision and fruitfulness go hand in hand in my own life. For example, my parents taught me how to work hard and build a career. As a family we talked about how to treat people, complete a full work day, and get involved. Even if it wasn’t was easy. Looking back on those conversations I see how God was directing my steps and illuminating my eyes to take each career step. Thanks to this mental vision I was able to continue moving forward through hard seasons and setbacks.

Now business success is only one area of our lives but this principal of works in any area… relationships, parenting, schooling, health, diet, budgeting… possessing a vision brings about positive change.

Vision is only possible with light. In fact Merriam Webster says “without light it is IMPOSSIBLE to have vision”.

Are there any areas of your life that lack fruitfulness?

Would it be logical that those same areas lack light?

If you can identify any area where this could be true, the encouragement I offer is to turn them over to God. The Bible says “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. He will give you a clear path to success and help you overcome when times get tough.

Read. Believe. Forgive. Proceed.

God Bless.
